Since 1985, Chrysalis House, Inc. (CHI) has been a full-service adoption agency dedicated to providing ethical, compassionate support for foster/adopt, domestic, and embryo adoptions. Chrysalis House walks alongside families and expectant parents with care, clarity, and respect, offering confidential, non-judgmental pregnancy counseling that includes accurate information, emotional support, and practical assistance to help each individual make the decision that is best for them and their child.

Located in Fresno, but serving 26 counties, Chrysalis House facilitates domestic infant adoptions by supporting expectant parents in creating thoughtful adoption plans and completes home studies for families pursuing any type of adoption, including embryo adoption. Chrysalis House's foster/adopt program focuses on placing children from the foster care system into safe, permanent homes once adoption is the established plan. Chrysalis House is also an Adoption Services Provider (ASP) for independent adoptions, ensuring birth parents receive informed, ethical guidance for the portion of services CHI is providing.

Chrysalis House's commitment to families extends far beyond placement. As children grow and their understanding of adoption and past trauma evolves, CHI provides ongoing consultation, referrals, resources, and access to adoption-competent therapists. Families are warmly invited to participate in Chrysalis House's collaborative support groups at any stage of their journey.
